Mail theft caught on camera in Newnan

NEWNAN, Ga. - Investigators are searching for someone who stole a person check out of a mailbox.

Authorities in Newnan are looking for the people inside this blue or black sedan.

Investigators say on December 16, a homeowner put a personal check in the mailbox to send out.

Before a mail carrier came, Ring video from a neighbor caught someone in this car open the mailbox and steal the check.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police.
