Man dead, two injured in nightclub shooting

ATLANTA - Atlanta Police are investigating a nightclub shooting that left one man dead and two others injured.

It happened early Friday morning at the LaCura Bar and Bistro in the 1900 block of Metropolitan Parkway.

According to the witnesses, the employees were escorting an unruly patron out of the club, when the shooting took place.  A dazed woman at the scene told us her father was the man shot and killed. His body was found outside the club, right near a side entrance.

Witnesses told FOX 5 the dead man is a relative of the club's owner, and worked at the establishment. They also said one injured person was a bouncer. 

Police had to call in backup to handle crowd control. Officers with automatic weapons could be seen and numerous altercations broke out in the club parking lot.

Investigators told us they arrested a person of interested at the scene of the shooting.
