DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Police are investigating a deadly early morning shooting at a south DeKalb County home Monday.
Officers were called to a home located in the 2300 block of Phillips Road around 2 a.m. Officer said the homeowner called after hearing shots fired in the basement apartment. Officers said they found a 30-year-old man dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
The name of the victim and the exact cause of death have not yet been released.
Police have not immediately named a suspect or a motive behind the shooting.
