Man shot, killed inside his Powder Springs home
PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. - Paulding County deputies are searching for a killer after a man was shot and killed in his Powder Springs home early Friday.
Deputies said the shooting happened around 12:30 in the morning on Crestbend Lane. Authorities said a woman called 911 after someone shot and killed her 34-year-old husband, two children were also in the house.
At this time police said they don’t know how many suspects may be involved or the motive behind the gunfire. But investigators told FOX 5 News they are interviewing the wife, but they do not consider her a suspect at this time.
“We do know there were multiple gunshots fired. This was not a random act of violence. This victim was targeted, so we feel like the suspects knew the victim,” said Sgt. Ashley Henson, Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.
