MARIETTA, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A Georgia man was arrested more than a year after a major heist at a casino in Illinois.
The investigation started back in September of 2017 when three men armed with rifles stormed the Casino Queen' in East Saint Louis.
An unarmed security guard was shot during the robbery and the suspects got away with several of the casino's cash drawers.
Wednesday, U.S. Marshals caught up with 42-year-old Daryl Muhammad in Marietta.
He was booked into the Cobb County Jail awaiting extradition back to Illinois.
His bond has been set for $1 million.
