Man, woman injured after drive-by shooting at home
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Police say two people were injured after a drive-by shooting at a home in Alabama.
Birmingham Police West Precinct Sgt. D. Miller told Al.com (http://bit.ly/2t5l8IN ) that the shooting occurred around 10:59 p.m. Wednesday. Miller says between 8 to 10 rounds of fire went into the home when a man and woman were struck while inside the house.
The victims were taken to UAB Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Miller says no suspects were in custody.
Miller says shots were fired from outside the house. At least eight shell casings were recovered from the scene, but police say it was hard to determine initially how many shots were fired.
