Cobb County shooting investigation
A shooting at the corner of Cobb Parkway and Allgood Road is under investigation.
MARIETTA, Ga. - Marietta police are investigating an argument over money that turned into gunshots Monday afternoon.
Officials said the incident happened at Allgood Road and Cobb Parkway.
Corey Jones, 31, and Billie Higdon, 71, were engaged in a verbal dispute that turned physical when Higdon pulled out a gun and shot Jones in his upper arm.
Jones was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Higdon was detained for questioning. Charges against him may be pending.
