Sawyer Road Elementary School in Marietta has a fresh, new look, thanks to the Peach Bowl and the College Football Playoff Foundation.

The school was selected as part of the "Extra Yard Makeover" initiative, which focuses on supporting education and giving back to local communities.

Teachers and students were greeted with a host of upgrades during the unveiling, which included renovations to the library, media center, science labs, and other key facilities. The improvements are designed to enhance learning environments and provide students with better tools for success.

One of the event organizers shared their passion for giving back, explaining how the initiative aims to make a meaningful impact on schools and communities.

Sawyer Road Elementary is one of several schools in the metro Atlanta area benefiting from the program. The Peach Bowl and the College Football Playoff Foundation have announced plans to revitalize five more schools in the coming months, bringing the total to eight schools that will receive makeovers this year.
