Early Wednesday morning the quiet of an Atlanta neighborhood was broken when federal agents and police officers raided the home of rapper Young Thug. They were there to serve an arrest warrant on Thug, who is legally known as Jeffery Lamar Williams.

Investigators say the 23-year-old rapper threatened to shoot Christoper May in the face back on July 7. May is a security officer at Perimeter Mall. He told officers that Williams threatened him while he was escorting him out of the mall and asking him to leave the property. The incident happened around 5 p.m.

Officers tell FOX 5 News that Williams was taken into custody around 6 a.m. Wednesday without incident and will be charged with making Terroristic Threats, a felony. At this time he is being held at the DeKalb County Jail while awaiting his initial appearance and bond hearing.
