Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Parade & Game – Jan. 1
Train service will maintain the same frequency, with trains arriving every 7 minutes on the Red/Gold Lines and Blue/Green Lines. For this event, Blue/Green Line service will extend between Ashby Station and King Memorial Station. Additional trains will also run to help fans return home smoothly after the game.
Polar Opposite Race – Jan. 4
Similar to the Peach Drop, trains will run every 7 minutes on the Red/Gold Lines and Blue/Green Lines. Service on the Blue/Green Lines will stretch between Ashby Station and Candler Park Station. MARTA will deploy extra trains to meet post-race demand.
Safety Measures
MARTA police officers and Transit Ambassadors will be present at rail stations to assist passengers and ensure safety. Riders are advised to avoid blocking train doors, as this can delay departures. Suspicious activity can be reported through MARTA’s See&Say 2.0 app, available for download on the agency’s website.
Tips for Riders
MARTA encourages riders to familiarize themselves with its services and download the Breeze Mobile 2.0 app to pay fares using their smartphones. Parking availability and other transit tips can be found on MARTA’s website. Passengers are also reminded to exercise patience, as trains and platforms are expected to be more crowded than usual during these events.
