ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Some good news ahead of Sunday’s chaos. The so-called MARTA sick-out is over at least for now.
Both sides in the transit union dispute have agreed to an order to stop any "illegitimate" sick-outs.

This week, hundreds of bus drivers failed to show for work amidst a labor dispute.
The move caused serious slowdowns for both bus and rail passengers.

Thursday a MARTA spokesperson released a statement which reads:
"MARTA is pleased with Judge Russell's decision that grants a joint consent order and requires the union to reinforce to their members the importance of providing critical transit services to our residents and visitors at all times."
