MARTA to use federal funds for Five Points Station upgrades
ATLANTA - MARTA will use federal money to upgrade its hub station in Downtown Atlanta.
Congresswoman Nikema Williams said MARTA was awarded $25 million in federal grant money, which it will use for upgrades to Five Points Station.
The transit authority is working with Atlanta city officials for the final concepts and designs.
The project could start by 2024.
The project is funded by the bipartisan infrustructure package.
