Peachtree Center MARTA Station on Oct. 21, 2023.
ATLANTA - There were reports of smoke coming from the MARTA Peachtree Center Station Saturday evening. MARTA officials confirmed someone had set fire to clothes in a stairwell.
The Atlanta Fire and Rescue had reported to the scene. The discovered the source of the smoke coming from the Ellis Street side of the station in Stairwell One.
There were no injuries reported in this incident.
