2 injured in shooting along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW, Atlanta police say

ATLANTA - A man and a woman were injured in a shooting along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW near Adamsville Drive SW. 

According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers were dispatched around 2:23 p.m. to 3660 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW. 

Officers found a 33-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his arm and leg and a 31-year-old woman with injuries to her arm caused by shattered glass. 

Both were alert, conscious, and breathing when they were transported to a hospital for treatment. 

APD’s Aggravated Assault Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
