Massive 'Beltline Kroger' Overhaul Announced

Plans have been announced for the redevelopment of the "Beltline" Kroger facility which will include a new 60,000 square-foot Kroger grocery store which will sit below 360,000 square-feet of office space.

In a press release Friday, developers said the project will be called 725 Ponce and is slated to be a mixed-use development settled in the heart of the Poncey-Highland neighborhood.

Developers said ground will be broken in the spring of 2016 but did not indicate how long the project will take to complete. This project comes on the heels of the recently-opened Ponce City Market facility which 725 Ponce will sit adjacent to along the city's Beltline Trail.
