Milton High School remembers UGA students killed in crash
MILTON, Ga. - A local high school community is mourning the loss of three University of Georgia students who
were killed in a car crash Wednesday night.
Families and students of Milton High School held a candlelight vigil for Kayla Canedo, 19, of Alpharetta, Brittany Feldman, 20, of Alpharetta, Christina Semeria, 19, of Milton. UGA student Halle Scott, 19, of Dunwoody was also killed in the crash. Agnes Kim, 21, of Snellville, who was the driver, suffered critical injuries.
Dozens of people remembered Canedo, Feldman and Semeria as caring young women who helped others.
Members of Camp High Harbour said Canedo and Feldman were role models for their members.
Students remembered Semeria as a great singer and musician who never missed an opportunity to inspire.
Semeria's parents brought many in the crowd to tears when they spoke.
"They were great godly girls," Catherine Semeria said. "I don't even know how I'm standing. I know that God surrounded our family with an army of angels."
The Semeria family also asked the public for their continued support during this difficult time.
