Monroe Police investigating murder-suicide
MONROE, Ga. - The Monroe Police Department is investigating a murder-suicide involving two separate locations.
According to police, the incidents happened at 313 Glen Iris and 126 Ford Street and involved what is believed to be a husband and wife.
Offices say a wife shot and killed her husband inside their home.
They found the wife a few blocks away.
When officers arrived, she turned the gun on herself right in front of her 19-year-old son.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is now helping police investigate the case.
