Four people are behind bars after a major marijuana grow house bust in Hall County.

On March 13, Tuan Le Khac, 39, James Thanh Nguyen, 52, Thu Loan Phan, 44, and Vinh Thein Tran, 54, were arrested at a home in the 6000 block of Old Wood Hollow Way in Buford. The suspects were found in possession of 253 marijuana plants which were being grown in the basement of the home. According to investigators, all four suspects were "actively engaged" in cultivating the marijuana plants at the time of their arrests.

Authorities also seized 100 pounds of processed marijuana, 120 pounds of marijuana processing byproducts, 159 root balls from harvested marijuana plants, $1,074 in cash, packaging materials, and digital scales.

Investigators said the estimated street value of the seized narcotics was around $706,000.

All four suspects were taken to the Hall County Jail.
