National Fajita Day celebrates sizzling dish
Forget Taco Tuesday, this Wednesday we're enjoying something with a little more pizazz.
Aug. 18 is National Fajita Day.
Many believe the first fajitas were made in the 1930s when cowboys were paid with throwaway cuts of beef.
But by the early 90s, fajitas were so popular that McDonald's even added some to its menu.
Some restaurants are offering deals today for anyone who has a fajita craving.
