Newton County school mourns after senior dies in car accident
NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. - A high school in Newton County is mourning the death of one of its seniors Monday.

Eastside High School posted on Facebook that senior William Hood died in a car accident on Saturday.
Officials described Hood as an "outstanding young man" who was involved in multiple activities at the school.
"He is definitely missed as he was a friend to many," the post said.
On Monday, the school brought in extra counselors to help grieving students.
Information about Hood's funeral arrangements have not yet been released.
