GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Gwinnett County police officers were able to quickly rescue a man that was reported missing by his granddaughter on Sunday.
Police said Sigun Yan, 82, was reported missing around 830 a.m. on Sunday from his home in the 1700 block of Green Oak Circle in unincorporated Lawrenceville. Yan’s granddaughter told police that he had a hard time walking and often used a wheelchair or a cane around the house.
Several officers responded to Greek Oak Circle and searched the area for Yan. After nearly 10 minutes of searching, officers found Yan behind his home in a large creek lying on a downed tree. Yan was unable to get himself out, according to police.
