Police searching for couple in deadly College Park motel shooting
Police said a man and woman got into an altercation with someone staying at the hotel and shot him multiple times. The victim's identity hasn't been released.
COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - College Park police said some sort of argument led to a man's shooting death at a motel on Old National Highway.
Police confirmed one person died near a Super 8 motel, a few miles southwest of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Police said the shooting happened at around 6 a.m.

Deadly shooting at motel near airport
The College Park Police Department was conducting interviews and canvasing the area for evidence. Police said one person was found dead at a Super 8 motel on Old National Highway.
Police are looking for a couple — a man and woman — who allegedly got into an argument with the victim.
Police said the man shot at the victim, hitting them multiple times.
Motel resident Ralph Terrell said he lives a few doors down from the man who was killed and heard the gunfire.
"Pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, "said Terrell, "and that was it. I didn't think anything of it 'til later that day. That's how I found out what happened."

Police officers were interviewing people and canvasing the area for evidence at around 6:45 a.m.

Witnesses said the victim lived on the second floor of the hotel. No one at the hotel had an idea why anyone would want to hurt the man who died on Monday morning.
The victim's family showed up at the scene mid-morning. They questioned motel residents in hopes of learning who killed their loved one and why.
The gunman and female fled the scene in an older model SUV.
Police have not identified the man but ask anyone with information to call College Park police at 404-761-3131.
