Atlanta's Most Wanted: 20-year-old nabbed for two deadly shootings
ATLANTA - A 20-year-old man who had been on Atlanta’s Most Wanted list was arrested on Friday. Corey Comer was charged in connection with two separate deadly shooting incidents over the past year.
On May 6, a 37-year-old man was shot and killed at Cleveland Avenue Park at 47 Cleveland Avenue SW. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers were dispatched around 4:30 p.m. to the 6-acre park. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Despite life-saving efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries.

In the second incident, on Nov. 17, at approximately 1:22 p.m., officers were dispatched to 183 Mount Zion Road SE after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a 17-year-old male who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
Following investigations into both cases, Comer was identified as a suspect. He was subsequently charged with multiple offenses, including murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The cases remain under active investigation.

Comer, who has been on Atlanta's Most Wanted list since November, was booked into the Fulton County Jail.
