Pedestrian hit by truck on sidewalk in Tempe

TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Tempe Police are investigating an accident involving a pedestrian near Playa Del Norte Drive. 

Officials say a truck left the roadway and drove on the sidewalk striking a pedestrian Sunday afternoon. 

First responders and law enforcement are on the scene. The injuries of the person are unknown at this time.
