The backstory:

Jackson's wife noticed he did not come home after working a shift with Uber on Sunday night. When she contacted him, she suspected something was wrong. Jill Jackson says Jackson then asked her for his social security number.

The 60-year-old had started to drive for Uber on the weekends in Middle Georgia where he lived to earn extra money. This past Sunday, his wife noticed he was out pretty late.

"She hadn't heard from him, and it was about 2 in the morning, and she messaged his phone. Don’t you have to work tomorrow?" she questioned.

The person on the other end then made an unusual request.

"That was a red flag, he just sent her because nobody asked for their own social security number," Jackson's son Desmond explained.

"Uber drivers don't have the money on them, and we don't know asking for a social to get to the accounts. We thought maybe he wanted to steal the car," the younger Jackson said.

Coach Jackson leaves behind a wife, Two sons and five grandchildren.

What we know:

In a new development, Atlanta Police say 30-year-old Iquane Brown has been identified as the person who requested the Uber ride in Houston County.

He is being held at the Houston County Jail on an unrelated robbery charge. Atlanta police say Brown is a person of interest in Coach Jackson's murder.

What we don't know:

It was not immediately clear if Brown will be charged.

What's next:

The investigation into Jackson's death continues.

The Jackson family says they will not rest until someone is charged with murder.
