FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - Deputies in Forsyth County are rallying around their coworker's 7-year-old nephew who is battling cancer.
Tuesday morning, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) shared several touching pictures of deputies shaving their heads in honor of Deputy Plumley's nephew, Brayden. They wanted to let the young fighter know they are pulling for him.
"That is tough for anyone," the FSCO said. "Well, in law enforcement, we are family. Deputy Plumley's fellow deputies came together to shave their heads to show Brayden that they are behind him and support him."
A number of Forsyth County residents have commented on the Facebook post, supporting both Brayden and the sheriff's office.
"You guys are awesome," Jean Franklin Cain said. "I love our officers! You got this thing Brayden!"
The 7-year-old child is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Please keep him in your thoughts!
