Police are looking for the gunman who killed two men behind a northeast Atlanta Taco Bell. Monday evening, police released photos of vehicles possibly linked to the deadly shooting.

The shooting happened late Sunday night on Parkway Drive near Ponce De Leon. Detectives identified the victims as 43-year-old Steve Sanon and 37-year-old Denorris Clark. Paramedics rushed one of them to the hospital, where he died. The other passed away at the scene.

According to investigators, a black SUV pulled up to the victims. A short conversation took place between the unknown number of people inside the vehicle and the victims. That conversation appeared to start friendly but then took a turn when someone in the SUV fired several shots.

Police released photos on Monday of three vehicles near the Taco Bell that may be linked to the killing.

The three cars are a newer model dark-colored Dodge Durango, a gray Chevy Trailblazer and a red or maroon Hyundai Tuscon.

Some of the bullets hit another car occupied by students from Georgia Tech and Georgia State. Luckily no one inside that car was hurt. Police interviewed those witnesses about the shooting.

Detectives found a gun at the scene, which they believe was fired few if any, times.

Investigators are trying to determine if the victims might've shot back at the people in the SUV.

Police are working to see if they can get surveillance video and aren't ruling out releasing photos or video from the crime scene.
