Police: 20 dogs rescue in massive drug bust
COBB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police in Cobb County said they have rescued 20 dogs during a massive drug bust.
Cobb County Police said they found the dogs in the garage of the home after receiving a complaint alleging animal abuse and narcotics at the home.
The address for the incident was 4603 Hickory Run Court Acworth, GA, 30102. The two suspects involved are Samantha Tameika Myles and Sha Fullington-Goodrich.
Police said they also seized a 1 brick press, 7 pill presses, 2 stolen weapons, 4.47 pounds of MDMA, 6.5 ounces of fentanyl, 7.8 grams of marijuana, 27.5 grams of unidentified pills, and 22 ounces of another unidentified powder.
The homeowners, whose names were not released, were detained.
The Cobb County Police department along with animal control officers as well as narcotics and ATF personnel are investigating.
