Four teenagers have been arrested in connection with a violent home invasion in Lumpkin County just after midnight on Friday.

According to deputies, the home invasion victim was able to run from the home on foot, beat on a neighbors house, and get the neighbor to call 911.

Police say the four suspects – 18-year-old Preston Andrew Anderson, 18-year-old Quintin Chase McConnell, 17-year-old Blake Mitchell McKinzie, and 17-year-old Gavyne Anthony Sowell – attempted to flee on foot, but were arrested after a canvassing of the area.

All four teenagers are Dawson County residents.

Officials say the victim in the invasion was not injured, but was "obviously shaken up."

Police have not yet released what the teenagers are charged with.

The investigation is ongoing.
