GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Police said a body was found Friday afternoon in a vacant lot along Jesse Jewell Parkway in Gainesville. The remains, which have not been identified, were located near Dorsey Street, officers said.
Authorities say they have not ruled out foul play as the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
Officials have not determined the gender or age of the individual. An autopsy will determine the cause and manner of death in this case.
