Police Chase Burglary Suspect Down I-20

VILLA RICA, Ga. - An Atlanta man is behind bars after police said they busted him breaking into a home then led them on a chase.

Villa Rica Police told FOX 5 News that 20-year-old Sanchez Simmons tried to break into a home on Parkway Circle.

When officers arrived, they said Simmons jumped into a stolen car and began to ram the patrol car.

Investigators said he then led them on a chase onto Interstate 20 where cops eventually caught up to him.

Simmons faces several charges including burglary and two counts of aggravated assault on officers.
