Police: Fight ends in deadly shooting in northwest Atlanta

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police are investigating a shooting in northwest Atlanta Sunday morning.

Investigators told FOX 5 News the shooting happened along Joseph E Boone Boulevard before 6 a.m.

According to police, the shooting happened after while a group of men were hanging out outside a nearby wing store when two men got into an argument.

Police say the argument turned into a fight and then into a shooting. One man between the ages of 20 and 30 was killed.

Officers are examining security footage and are still looking for the shooter. They told FOX 5 they know who the shooter was and believe people around the area do as well.

The identity of the victim and the shooting suspect have not yet been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
