Police: Hall County men arrested for assaulting victim

MURRAYVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Hall County sheriff's deputies have arrested two men who they say assaulted a man and left him disfigured.

Hall County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Scott Ware tells local media that 20-year-old Jacob Tyler Delong and 22-year-old Chase Lane Jarrard are accused of striking the victim repeatedly in the head during an incident Friday.

The victim sustained a fractured skull, a fractured orbital socket and a fractured sinus cavity leading to a serious disfigurement.

Ware says the relationship between the suspects and the victim is unknown.

Deputies arrested both suspects without incident and charged them with aggravated battery. It's unclear if Delong and Jarrard have attorneys.

The case remains under investigation.
