Police: Home invasion suspects pistol-whip victim, leave with cash

ATLANTA - Atlanta police are searching for two men after a home invasion in northwest Atlanta early Friday morning. 

Police said several people were inside the house on Scott Street when two men kicked in the front door.  The home invaders pistol-whipped one of the victims, leaving him with minor injuries. They then stole another victim's wallet that contained $80 in cash.

The suspects ran from the scene, according to police. At this time, no arrests have been made and the two men are still at large.

Police on the scene wouldn't comment if they thought the house was chosen at random or possibly targeted for a reason.
