Police: Man shot near tennis courts in DeKalb County neighborhood

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - DeKalb County Police are investigating a shooting on Rainbow Creek Drive in DeKalb County Thursday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 3:30 a.m. Investigators tell FOX 5 a man was shot near the tennis courts in a neighborhood off I-20. 

Police say the man then ran to his parent’s home about a block away to get help. 

At some point, the victim’s car ended up through the fence of the tennis court. It is unclear if the crash happened before or after the shooting. 

The adult male victim is at Grady Memorial Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
