Police: Man wanted for robbing bank teller
ATLANTA - Police are searching for a man who robbed the Fidelity Bank at Peachtree Street NW.
The Atlanta Police Department said the man entered the bank around 1:30 p.m. when he reached over the counter and stole cash from the bank teller's work station. The suspect fled the bank on foot down Peachtree Street, according to police.
Investigators describe the suspect as being in his late 20's with an average build and short hair twists with blond tips. He was last seen on the bank's surveillance video wearing a purple t-shirt, blue jeans and a watch on his left wrist.
The Atlanta Police Department and Atlanta Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help to identify the man and offering up to a $2,000 reward for any information that can lead to his arrest.
