Police: man's brother arrested for his murder

ATLANTA - Atlanta Police have arrested the brother of a shooting victim for his murder Thursday morning.

Brandon Pittman, 31, was charged with the death of his 21-year-old brother.

Police said they responded to the 1200 block of Donnelly Avenue SW around 8:14 a.m. after receiving a report of a person shot. Officer said they found the 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.

The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Pittman was later taken into custody and charged with murder.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.
