Police: Missing Johns Creek woman's body found
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - In a tragic turn of events, a Johns Creek woman who disappeared after she left to run errands on Monday, Nov. 5 has been found dead.
Carol Lynn Smith left home around 11 a.m. that Monday Her son, Wes Smith, says she went to pick up a prescription but never made it to the pharmacy.
“My father came home at 7 p.m. and realized that she wasn't here and she left her phone here, and that's when we realized something was wrong,” Smith said.
Monday afternoon, police confirmed with FOX 5 that Carol Lynn Smith's body had been found in Forsyth County.
Police have not said how Smith's body was found and whether they suspect foul play was involved.
