Police: Motorcyclist loses control, killed in crash

FAIRBURN, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police have been on the scene of a deadly motorcycle crash in Fairburn.

The male motorcyclist crashed on the 8200 block of Rivertown Road near Short Road early Monday morning.

A Fulton County Police officer happened to be driving by and saw the lights in the woodline. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators say the driver lost control on a curve, left the roadway and struck a fence.

Officials have not yet released the identity of the motorcyclist.
