Police search for persons of interest in Clayton County triple shooting
CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Clayton County police are looking for two persons of interest in the shooting deaths of three people.
The shootings happened at the Lakeview Trails apartments located in the 5700 block of Riverdale Road Tuesday evening. Clayton County Police Deputy Chief Michael Register said they were called out to an apartment in Building C of the complex for a report of a domestic dispute. No one came to the door when officers arrived.
About two hours later, around 9:30 p.m., they were called back out to the apartment by family members who found the three bodies.
According to police, Robert Dixon Jr., 26, Mario Collier, 27, and Lakisha Davis, 23, were all shot multiple times.
Initially police thought their deaths were the result of a domestic dispute, but are now investigating the shootings as being drug related. Police said drug paraphernalia was found scattered throughout the apartment.
Wednesday, detectives released sketches of two persons of interest. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
