Police searching for gunman after shooting outside nightclub

ATLANTA - Atlanta Police are looking for the gunman responsible for shooting a man outside The Ivory, a popular nightclub, early Thursday morning.

Officers say there was a fight around 4 a.m. that spilled outside into the parking lot. A man ended up getting shot in the leg. He was transported to Grady in stable condition.

Witnesses say a black male in a dark colored hoodie ran off from the shooting toward Northside Drive and was picked up in a dark colored SUV.

While officers were trying to piece together how the fight and shooting started, a white sedan pulled up in front of The Ivory and fired several shots.

No one was hit. The car sped off.

Officers say they’re having trouble getting surveillance video from the club and need witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to call APD.
