Police searching for suspects passing counterfeit money
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. - Police in Flowery Branch are working to identify three suspects whom they say used counterfeit money to buy hundreds of dollars worth of goods at a local Target.
In a release on Facebook, the Flowery Branch Police Department shared three photos of the suspects.
They say that the three men passed 11 counterfeit $100 bills on Saturday, Jan. 20.
The suspects used the money to purchase electronics and gift cards, while also receiving real cash in change, officials said.
Authorities believe the suspects may have been driving a dark blue Nissan Versa.
