Atlanta police want to find a driver involved in a deadly hit and run. They say the victim was killed while walking down the side of Lindbergh Drive on Jan. 27. The victim's partner identifies him as 33-year-old Joey Williams.

Wade Ervin says Williams was walking along Lindbergh about 3:45 a.m. when he was struck by a truck at a high rate of speed. Ervin says Williams was tossed several yards down the road by the impact.

Officers told FOX 5 the suspect was driving a white truck. Detectives also determined that parts left on the scene belong to a 2012 to 2015 Toyota Tacoma.

"They hit him, the hit him so hard they knocked him 100 and something feet in the air and just left him like he was a dog, they didn't even stop," Ervin told FOX 5 News.

Police are now asking anyone with information on the accident to give them a call. A reward is being offered for information in the case. Williams was laid to rest this past Saturday.
