MORROW, Ga. - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation wants to talk to a man they believe witnesses a deadly shooting at a Clayton State University housing complex. Investigators believe he may be the key to solving the crime.
The GBI wants to talk to Larenzo Drayton about what he saw Nov. 9 at the Clayton Station apartments located in the 5800 block of N. Lake Drive in Morrow. Clayton State University police said Tyron Davis, 23, was shot twice in one of the breezeways of the complex around 8:15 p.m.
A witness told FOX 5 News that he heard 2 to 3 gun shots and headed outside to check on the situation. He and his roommates found a man with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his shoulder on the ground. They called 911.
Agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are helping campus police investigate the incident.
Davis was rushed to Southern Regional Medical Center where he later died.
