'Unbecoming' Polk County jailer terminated from job

POLK COUNTY, Ga. - The Polk County Sheriff's Office announced one of its jailers has been terminated over behavior "unbecoming of an officer."

The individual's actions and identity have not been publicized yet. Sheriff Johnny Moats said the situation was still being criminally investigated and could not be discussed.

Once the investigation is complete, Moats said the office will make an announcement.
