Then Monday, Barfield's vehicle was spotted in Alabama where police made contact with the Navy veteran and sent him back to Georgia.
Tuesday, officials said the local father was missing again after his jeep was found abandoned Tuesday on Highway 27 in Haralson County.
Now, the Haralson County Sheriff's Office said he was found safe on Wednesday morning and reunited with his family.
