Portion of Mt. Vernon Highway closed in Sandy Springs after tree falls on power lines
SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - Mount Vernon Highway is closed between Glen Errol Road and Whitner Drive, according to Sandy Springs Police Department.
SSPD says a tree fell on power lines and multiple power poles are damaged. Georgia Power is currently on the scene.
The police department did not say how long the closure is expected to last. The closure was reported at approximately 2 p.m.
