Shooting at Brookhaven gas station under investigation
The investigation continues into an early morning shooting at a RaceTrac gas station on Clairmont Road in Brookhaven. Police say a customer was shot. Tyler Fingert reporting.
BROOKHAVEN, Ga. - Police responded to a shooting at a RaceTrac gas station on Clairmont Road near Dresden Drive early Monday morning.
Emergency responders were seen loading an individual into an ambulance and transporting them from the scene. Authorities later confirmed that a man, who appears to have been a customer, had been shot at the gas station around 5 a.m. They later said that the man is "stable" and is able to speak to police.
Police officers from Brookhaven and Chamblee responded to the shooting.
At this time, the motive for the shooting is unknown. It is also unknown if the police have a suspect.
