Power restored at Arbor Place Mall after outage
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. - Arbor Place Mall has reopened after a power outage caused stores close late Saturday afternoon.
The shopping center's Twitter account reported the outage and said crews were working to restore the power.
The cause of the outage was not immediately known.
Around 6 p.m. on Saturday, the mall sent a Tweet saying Georgia Power crew restored the power and the mall had reopened.
Arbor place mall opened in 1999 and is located at 6700 Douglas Blvd in Douglasville.
The mall is scheduled to stay open until 10 p.m. Saturday night, as the first major shopping weekend of the holiday season gets underway.
