PHILADELPHIA (WTXF/AP) After a quiet Day 3 of the Democratic Convention, protesters took to the streets Wednesday night.
Protesters broke through the security fencing outside of the Wells Fargo Center around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The demonstrators appeared in court on Thursday.
Police were quickly able to get the situation under control.
Philadelphia's police commissioner says his officers have not used pepper spray on protesters during the Democratic National Convention, but transit officials say one of their officers did use one short burst.
